3rd or 4th YEAR PLUMBING APPRENTICE

Job Summary

We are seeking a 3rd or 4th-year Plumbing Apprentice to join our dynamic and ever-growing team. The position reports to the Manager of Industrial Services and will assist will have the opportunity to work in many sectors of the construction industry that will help to strengthen and grow their respective trade skills. Arcadian is looking for a self-motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow as the position requires and aligns with our company mission and shared values.

Salary Range

Salary to commensurate with experience.
$25.70 – $33.00 per hour.

Education/Certifications

• Candidates must be registered with the Ontario College of Trades.
• Candidates must have valid Working at Heights, WHMIS and an Ontario Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.

Physical Capabilities/Work Environment

Physical and Sensory Demands:
This position is physically demanding. Plumbers must frequently be able to:

• • Lift 50lbs
  • Stand for long periods
  • Use their hands to control, handle and feel objects, tools and controls
  • Twist and bend their body
  • Conduct repeat movements
  • Kneel, stoop, crouch or crawl
  • Climb ladders, scaffolds or poles.

Working Environment: Much of the time is spent in movement, elevated, in small spaces and/or large open spaces, with other equipment in operation around the working space. Work environments may include dirty, loud or cleanroom areas, or outdoors in various types of weather.
