SERVICE/PROJECT COORDINATOR
Job Summary
We seek a Project/Service Coordinator to join our dynamic and ever-growing team. Our Projects/Service Coordinators’ primary responsibility is to provide support to our customers and our service technicians. Other duties include answering the service line, creating service tickets, and other administrative duties.

Essential Functions of the Position:
- Assess the service needs of clients and connect them with the correct provider.
- Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries in the office.
- Ensure each client is given the necessary services and follow-up to fill ongoing service needs.
- Create work orders for service technicians.
- Assist in planning, scheduling and executing service activities.
- Review work orders and create invoices.
- Maintain good relationships with service providers and clients to retain the customer base.
- Expand the list of resources and providers to ensure there are no gaps in services.
- Work with the accounting department to ensure project accounting is accurate and timely.
- The primary responsibility in all facets of job close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work.
- Promote all services Arcadian Projects offers to existing and new customers.
Education
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in business, construction management, or a related discipline.
- CET Certification and experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
- Valid drivers license.
Skills and Experience
- Three to five years of related work experience with projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and working knowledge of MS Project.
- Knowledge of JONAS Construction Management Software is an asset.
- Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills; oral and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivated, able to work accurately under pressure.
- Electrical/Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
Physical Capabilities/Work Environment
- Physical and Sensory Demands: Office: Minimal demands; typical of a position operating within an office environment; periods of extensive sitting at a desk and in meetings and concentrated use of visual and auditory senses; substantial repetitive keyboard/mouse movement; high sensory demands because of required concentration and attentiveness to detail and regular distractions and interruptions. Site: Possible high sensory demands when on project sites due to typical construction equipment operation.
- Working Environment: Office: Much of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about. The office is located in a comfortable indoor area, and options for hybrid workstations are available for this position. Candidates must be able to climb stairs. Site: This position may require visits to project sites, requiring driving and the ability to traverse greenfield and new construction sites.
